In 2010, the Pew Research Center reported that the number of Hispanics entering college freshman classes increased by 15% from 2007 to 2008. That compares to an 8% increase in enrollment of African Americans, a 6% increase in enrollment of Asians, and a 3% increase in enrollment for whites.
